Mark McElvain

Mark McElvain is SRG Residential’s Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and Nevada

Before joining SRG Residential, Mark rejoined the team at Shelton Residential (acquired by Asset Living) as Vice President of New Business Development, having formerly served as a Shelton Residential Senior Portfolio Director from 2018 to 2021. Previously, Mark spent two years as the Vice President of Operations for US Residential, based in Denver, and as a Senior Vice President at Riverstone/Greystar, where he had total accountability for the Central Mountain Region’s portfolio of 15,000 apartment homes.

Before his Colorado experience, Mark was a Regional Vice President and Director of Asset Management for Western National Group based in Orange County, California. Mark also spent four years in Arizona as a District Manager with Camden Property Trust, where he supervised a 4,000-unit portfolio in Phoenix and Tucson.

Mark has held numerous volunteer leadership positions within Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas apartment associations. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska, has been awarded the highly respected Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and obtained a broker’s license from the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
